please note that most retired cats are now on a new page for Retirees which will be added to the web site shortly.

Paradis (Kitty) is one of Carol's really spoiled, and I mean really spoiled,  cats. She is a gourmet who insists on a constant supply of whatever food  or food treats are the most expensive at the time. Kitty has the typical sweet Birman nature and blue eyes to die for(and a very good appetite!) Kitty got dragged out of retirement recently to go to the Agricultural Show as Carol thought she was getting too uppity. She got Best Group 1 De-sexed Cat. Of course this was Kitty's way of putting the ball back squarely in Carol's court and she was gloating for the rest of the day.

Ted is now retired along with his half brother Golden Echo (Bonze). They live a luxurious life as the pampered darlings of their new parents. Ted is not quite so spoiled as his brother Bonze however, he still walks around on his own whereas Bonze insists on being carried if there are any human slaves about and will only eat off the best china.

Paperchase (China) is a lovely boy and is yet another of Angel's beautiful babies. To date, he has been to fifteen shows (27rings) and has received Best Birman Kitten once, Reserve Group 1 Kitten once, Reserve Group 1 Neuter twice, Best Birman Exhibit three times and Best Birman Neuter fifteen times and in the top ten seventeen times. At the SCOBFA Show last year the judge Paul Henry (NZ) said that he had to 'nit pick' to choose between him and Samsi-Bar for his Supreme Exhibit in Ring 1.

China is the Sacred Cat of Burma Fanciers Association's Neuter of the year for 2001 - and, like Samsi  (who got the SCOBFA  Male Entire of the Year in the entire category) -  he too has done it by attending only four of the seven  shows at which points are awarded during the year!

(Note: this starts off the same as the one on the old web site  but changes after the first four lines)

A neuter of ours is Peloux Paperchase

That he's not still a tom is really a waste.

Angel's his dam, Taharga's his sire

Oh how we regret he is not an entire!

His temperament's sweet, his nature is joyful

That he can't have kittens is jolly well awful

Not that he cares, he just wants to play

With besotted humans, all of the day.

Up on the bookcase live all the toys

Far out of  reach of Paperchase boys.

Until a slave gets them he sighs and he moans

The house just re-echoes with all of his groans.

But when a slave rushes his command to obey

Oh then he plays happily all the long day.

Due to our need to reduce numbers here Tau Ceti is no longer a queen, she has been neutered and has gone to  a pet home with one of her daughters . We hear  that she is very happy with Sam and Michael, (her new parents) her daughter Mira and all the show stopping Border Collies at Etherial  Border Collies.

Sharika owns a house in Lara that used to belong to Noel, Barbara, Kristie, and Clint Pownell.

She kindly lets them and their animals, Birmans, an Exotic, a Domestic, two German Shepherds, a Red Heeler, a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, various breeds of chicken, Chinese Geese, ducks, cockatiels, Guinea Fowl and four horses live there too.

Sharika is a very cuddly girl who loves hanging over shoulders and playing on the computer with Noel.

Sharika is the daughter of Badarene Golden Angel's daughter Peloux Cassandra and Gd. Ch. Rosehill Marimba.
